Coalesce is Deloitte's event management application that helps users of Deloitte and as well users from other organisations to participate in a event conducted by Deloitte India.

my role

This is quick turn around project, I led this project with other two of the designers. Took responsibility right from documenting the project requirements till handing off the final designs.

Problem

The event management was previously done via email invite only. The Inability to handle huge participant group and In order to simplify things and as well, the team came up with this idea of building a platform for event management.

BUSINESS GOALS

To design an event management application for web and mobile application that enables all the event managements and users management functionalities.

About the sprints

The project had three sprints, where we focused working on three different modules,

Login sprint was a very short one, This modules had very basic fucntions like login and registering for the event, giving access to both Deloitte and external org users also.

This module will be handled by the admin, which lets them to create and manage events, participants, sessions, surveys and media reviews.

This is for the end users, where any Deloitte employee can register directly and take part in the event when they get notified there is a event happening, but the external users need an invite from any Deloitte employee to participate.

Users statements gave me the direction to come up with the new simplified flow, with reduced stages and which will focus more on lowering memory load and will help users in decision making.
